Ayurvedic Pudina Chutney For Sandwich [Video]

Let us learn about Ayurvedic Pudina Chutney for Sandwich preparation and for general use as chutney (side dish), useful to empower digestion strength and respiratory immunity.

Ingredients

Ingredients are:
Cut Pudina leaves – Peppermint – Mentha piperita – 1 cup
Coriander leaves – 1 cup
Fresh ginger – 1 inch long – around 10 grams
Lemon juice – juice extracted from half a lemon
Rock salt or common salt – half a teaspoon or as per taste
Black pepper – 5

Method of preparation

Pudina and coriander leaves are cut into small pieces and put inside the mixer. Fresh ginger, lemon juice, rock salt and black pepper are added to the mixer and ground to a semisolid mass. You can add a little water for easy mixing of ingredients inside the mixer.

Benefits

Improves digestion strength.
Useful in gastritis, bloating, cold and cough.
If you use less of black pepper, it can be used in hyper acidity.
Caution: Consult your doctor before trying this or any other home remedy.
Effect on Tridosha: Balances Vata and Pitta Dosha.

Side effects

Avoid it if you are advised to avoid salt.
People with very sensitive stomach may use just 2 black pepper seed or they can just skip this ingredient.
It can be used as sandwich chutney or simple spice chutney to take along with other dishes.
It can be used by pregnant women, lactating mother and children.
