Ayurveda was practised by our ancient Indian sages and Rishis. Ayurveda never encourages intake of non-vegetarian food, This article is mis-guiding and an insult to our ancient practises of Ayurveda followed by our Indian sages

Quite similar. Both balance Vata dosha, increases Kapha, Snigdha (unctuous). Chicken acts as aphrodisiac.

In the video (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bcBzjvsDn28), you mentioned that meat in general is heavy to digest and increase kapha if consumed if one is having cold and cough as the digestive system is weak during this time. My question is – is it ok to consume goat meat soup with spices added (not the meat pieces) to strengthen the body if one is having cold and cough. On various other website I see advise to consume bone soup during cold and flu season. I would like to know Ayurvedic perspective on this. Thank you.

Sir I am thinking of taking mutton bone soup for my osteoarthritis problem. Would it help? I’m a Krishna bhakt. I’m scared of upsetting Him. What is your opinion? Also western websites say it should be cooked for 12-24 hours unlike the Indian ones.

If you are accustomed to take non veg food, then you can use it. No need to cook it for 12 months.
