Hi Ghee and honey in different quantities is fine. They should not be used in same quantities as per Ayurveda.

Regarding ‘cough of Pitta origin having yellow colored sputum’ – is this a remedy for ‘wet’ cough i.e. with profuse sputum? Or is this for more like dry cough with just a little bit of sputum?

Also, ‘feeling of fumes’ — is this heat in the mouth? Or is it a feeling of suffocation in breathing?

Hi, we will learn about cough and its Dosha imbalance in features in a future article.
Just to clarify here, there will be small amount of yellow coloured thick sputum in Pittaja Kasa.
Feeling of fumes – the Ayurveda term is Dhoomayana – it suggests that there is heat in mouth and increased hotness in chest. When patient coughs, he feels his breath to be very hot. There is no suffocation involved here.
