      Dear Vanitha,
      Thanks for cordial compliments.
I do not think there is any specific medicine in both Siddha and Ayurveda that would cure type 1 diabetes.

Just take it into a mortar and grind with a pestle. The color varies based on the quality of herb and place from where the herb is collected. Do not worry much about it.

Bhui amla – whole plant is used. It can be used in two ways –
    1. Its plants are collected, washed thoroughly. Juice is crushed and consumed in a dose of 6 – 12 ml, once or twice a day, depending upon the disease condition.
    2. its whole plants are collected, washed thoroughly, dried under shade. – powdered and administered in a dose of 3 – 6 grams per day.

Thank You Sir, Thank you very much.
I wanted to use Bhumi Amla Plant in the above said powder of Cumin, Cardamom, Sugar Candy and milk. Should I dry the Bhumi Amala plant and make its powder and mix or I can use the green plant as it is.

Dear sir, The powder of the Bhumiamalaki plant will be suitable in this aspect.

Bhumi Amalaki plant can be crushed into paste form and can be taken in place of powder. But the dose of this paste needs to be double than the dose of powder. Suppose you were prescribed 3 grams of powder then the dose of the paste needs to be 6 grams.
Its whole plant – leaves, etc together is used.
But root etc should be thoroughly cleaned before consuming it.

Sitaram .People in ancient times had a lot of knowldge about herbs. I have seen farmers and labours in mountains used to know about trees and their qualities but new education system and medicines stopped all this knowledge flow. They used bhumi amla, bhringaraj , punarnava ,kutki ,giloy ,kalmegh, makoy ,arjun ,daruhaldi ,neem, tulasi and make gulikas tablets with resin or some gummy material for all digestive ailments and healthy liver before food. and even patanjali liv 38 and other medicines use these herbs. Your article was amazing to read. Thank you.
