Amazing Omani Interest To Learn Chyawanprash Recipe

Mr Salah Alhaddabi And Mr Khalid flew all the way from Oman to Moodbidri, Karnataka, India (which is my place),  to learn how to make Chyawanprash.  At the end of their 5 days of stay here, they exclaimed that the visit was really worthy.

What started with a simple email exchange ended up in a 5 day short course on Chyawanprash making.

They stayed in Alva’s Anandamaya resort  for five days, to enjoy Ayurvedic treatment in early morning and evening hours.

During their day time, they visited Alva Pharmacy (Where I work), learnt about

• Basic principles of Ayurvedic medicines,
• Principles involved in Chyawanprash recipe
• Steps A to Z on how to make Chyawanprash and
• Functioning of an Ayurvedic Pharmacy.
• They prepared 40 Kg of Chyawanprash using fresh Amla and all the 47 herbal ingredients, without any artificial preservative and took it back to their place.
